Southern California ? Building Boom Continues
Home building state-wide is expected to remain at the
highest level since the 1980’s through 2003 and 2004
according to the economic forecasts conducted for the
California Building Industry Association. The economists
said the states housing market is expected to perform
remarkably well during the next two years.
Total new housing will increase by 6%! Single family
housing will increase by 5.8% while multi family homes
will increase by 6.5%. The construction industry will
build 180,000 combined houses and apartments this year.
This is well below the 230,000 ? new homes California
needs to add each year to keep pace with California’s
continued population increase. (From “INMA News Features,
Los Angeles Times”)
Southern California is truly the place to buy a home
for fun and profit.
